Brig Gen Artūras Leita, Commander of the Lithuanian Air Force to date, is appointed high level planning executive of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Representation Team to OSCE as of January 10. For the term in this office Brig Gen A. Leita will be based in Lithuania. He will be responsible for coordination of cooperation projects of the Lithuanian Armed Forces and OSCE.
Col Antanas Jucius, Head of Air Surveillance and Control Command, will serve as acting Commander of the Lithuanian Air Force until nomination of a new Commander.
Brig Gen A. Leita has been the eight Commander Lithuanian Air Force since restoration of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, he has been leading Lithuanian Air Force since 2005.
