On May 19 multinational Lithuania-Polish Exercise Gallant Boar 25 (Pol: Dzielny Dzik 25) closed out with a dynamic display in Poland. The exercise was centered on training and planning defensive operations in support of the bilateral Orsha Plan. The dynamic display was conducted in the presence of the leaders of the states and Armed Forces of Poland and Lithuania: President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, Chief of Defence of Lithuania General Raimundas Vaikšnoras, Chief of Defence of Poland General Wiesław Kukuła, and other guests. 

The exercise in Poland trained military personnel of the Infantry Brigade Griffin and the Infantry Brigade Iron Wolf side by side with over 800 other NATO Allied troops from Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.  

Lithuanian and Polish forces were interacting with combat support units and coordinating with NATO Allies and partners to execute coordinated force movement, aggressive defensive reconnaissance in urban and forested areas, and logistical, ammunition and stocks resupply tasks. 

The bilateral Lithuania-Polish exercise Gallant Boar 25 practiced collective defence model to ensure rapid response to potential crises in the  Suwałki Gap region.  

Area residents should take note that military equipment will be moved in an intensified order from Poland to their home bases in Lithuania on May 20–23. The movement will be conducted via state roads, the drivers are invited to pay attention, respect the traffic regulations and to skip overtaking the military columns when optional.
