On March 14 through April 1 military personnel of the Lithuanian Special Operations Forces and other NATO allies trained at Exercise Cold Response 2022 in the northern part of Norway. The exercise involved the total of approx. 30,000 troops, 220 aircraft and 50 vessels from 27 European and North America countries.

The “Green force”, žaliukai, and jaegers trained infiltration, direct actions, combat support, live fire and other actions in unique locations ranging from frozen fiords to snowy mountain areas in the overall ‘Embrace the Cold’ exercise context.

The exercise has been held every second year since 2006 to train critical skills in the force.
