Lithuanian TV figure Algis Ramanauskas will reveal daily routines of the Lithuanian military...

Algis Ramanauskas and a video team have travelled to Afghanistan to collect video material for a documentary "Mission: Afghanistan" about Lithuanian troops deployed on the International Security Assistance Force's (ISAF) mission.

"We will not deny it - it is adrenalin and fear, pride and gratitude for the ones defending our security here and there. Not only those selected for deployment but also their families, friends and brothers-in-arms who cherish their human bonds each day wait for the mission with anxiety", commented on the project "Mission: Afghanistan" producer Eduardas Silva.

"However, we should not surrender to the illusion of security completely - we have fire engagements in Afghanistan daily, mortar mines are flying, improvised explosive devices are placed on the roads. A friendly local may turn out to be a Taliban fighter with his hands soaked in gunpowder dust", A. Ramanauskas shared the vision for a series of documentary reality.
