On December 13 at 1300 hrs media representatives are invited to cover a live-fire exercise of the U.S. battalion deployed in Lithuania. U.S. M1 Abrams tank crews will train at the Gen Silvestras Žukauskas Training Area in Pabradė.
Media representatives willing to attend will need to register until December 12, 1500 hrs, with Capt Egidijus Taroza at +370 685 33886 or egidijus.taroza@mil.lt. Information required for registration: full name, represented media outlet, contacts (mobile phone number, e-mail address).
Freelance reporters and foreign media representatives will need accreditation given by the MoD Strategic Communication and Public Relations Department, e-mail: vis@kam.lt. Information required: filled out questionnaire form, copies of a personal ID document and confirmation letter from the media outlet.
Registered media representatives are invited to arrive on Friday, December 13 at the Gen Silvestras Žukauskas Training Area check-post no later than 1245 hrs.
