On September 4-16 troops of the Rocket Artillery Battery attended an international academy activity for HIMARS crews. The event in Estonia brought together military personnel from Estonia, United States, Latvia to practice HIMARS maintenance and checks, as well as fire tasks, day and night driving of HIMARS trucks, missile reloading and launching preparation.
The activity delivered by the United States 4-133 Field Artillery Battalion aimed at training competent members of HIMARS operation crews able to independently and effectively control and man the system.
Personnel of the Lithuanian Land Force Rocket Artillery Battery were preparing to ensure a smooth integration of the HIMARS High Mobility Artillery Rocket System into the Lithuanian Land Forces in close cooperation with the 4th Battalion, 133rd Field Artillery Regiment, 41st Field Artillery Brigade and V Corps.
After finishing the training the Lithuanian troops were recognized by awarding them a HIMARS missile container cover as a symbol of a close collaboration between the Lithuanian military personnel and the U.S. 4th Battalion, 133rd Field Artillery Regiment,
