February 6 through 9 Chair of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer will be visiting Lithuania. Monday he will meet with Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas and Chief of Defence of Lithuania Lt Gen Valdemaras Rupšys.
Admiral will be briefed on the structure organisation of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, analysis of the security situation, and strategic communication. The visit agenda also cover a trip to the Suwalki Gap and the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence in Vilnius.
While in Lithuania, the guest will deliver a lecture to IIRPS VU students and academic community and attend celebration of the 5th anniversary of the NATO eFP Battalion Lithuania.
