On June 22 Chief of Defence of Lithuania Lt Gen Arvydas Pocius met with Commander of the U.S. Transportation Command Gen William M. Fraseron visit in Lithuania and discussed the possibility of conducting transit from Afghanistan via Lithuania, regional security, operation in Afghanistan, and other points.
The meeting was also attended by U.S. Ambassador in Lithuania HE Anne E. Derse.
