On the 9th of April Chief of Defence of Croatia Lieutenant General Drago Lovrić accompanied by Croatian and Lithuanian armies' delegation visited Lithuanian Air Force Base.
Croatia's Chief of Defence was greeted by Acting Commander of Lithuanian Air Force Base Major Sergėjus Buitvidas. Croatian delegation was accompanied by the Chief of Defence of Lithuania Lieutenant General Arvydas Pocius, Air Force Commander Major General Edvardas Mažeikis, Defense Attaché to Croatia Colonel Raimondas Matulaitis.

After meeting with the representatives of Lithuanian Air Force, the delegation have visited Air Force Base's Quick Reaction Alert zone where the Danish Royal Air Force contingent that is currently conducting NATO Air policing mission over the Baltic states is deployed. The Chief of Defence of Croatia is visiting Lithuania at the invitation of the Chief of Defence of Lithuania. This is the first visit by Croatia's Chief of Defence in our country. Lieutenant General Arvydas Pocius conducted a formal visit in Croatia in September of 2012.
