On April 29 through May 1 Chief of Defence of Lithuania Lieutenant General Arvydas Pocius will be conducting a formal visit to the Republic of Ireland where he will meet with General Conor O‘Boyle, the Chief of Staff and other leadership of the Defence Forces of Ireland.
At the meeting the Lithuanian and Irish chiefs of defence will discuss involvement in multinational operations, share information about ongoing defence reforms in Lithuania and Ireland and perspectives of bilateral cooperation.
The Lithuanian Chief of Defence will also visit the Lithuanian Association in Ireland where he will talk about the recent defence issues of Lithuania.
