Commander of the Navy of Singapore paid a visit to Klaipėda 

On April 4 Chief of Navy of the Republic of Singapore Rear Admiral Sean Wat Jianwen and his staff officers was visiting the Lithuanian Navy HQ in Klaipėda.

Commander of the Lithuanian Navy RADM Giedrius Premeneckas emphasized maritime cooperation between the two countries. “Even though a significant distance apart geographically, our nations have a lot in common and sharing experience is bilaterally truly beneficial in addressing a range of various challenges.”

Rear Admiral and his delegation visited the Lithuanian Navy Headquarters where they learned about the organisations units, infrastructure, history, weaponry, equipment of the service and its future plans.  

On April 7 Rear Admiral S. Wat and Chief of Defence Defence of Singapore Vice Admiral Aaron Beng will attend the keel laying ceremony at the Western Baltija Shipbuilding shipyard currently building patrol craft for the Singapore Navy.
