On June 6-8 Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Vice Admiral Ihor Voronchenko and a delegation will conduct a visit in the Lithuanian Navy.
The guests will meet with Commander of the Lithuanian Navy Captain (Navy) Arūnas Mockus at the Lithuanian Navy headquarters. They will later proceed to the Control Centre of the Lithuanian Navy, Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre, and will view warships at Naval Flotilla. The Vice Admiral will be briefed on Lithuania's 25 years of experience of developing the navy and preparation of joining NATO, and the subsequent NATO integration as a full-fledged member. The visit theme will also feature active participation of the Navy in regional and multinational operations, as well as in NATO SNMCMG1.
Two observers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces took part in Exercise Cormorant 2016 in 2016.
