On March 18-25 a delegation of sergeant majors of the Pennsylvania National Guard headed by State Command Sergeant Major Harry J. Buchanan is visiting Lithuania.
The guests will meet with Commander of the Lithuanian Land Force Maj Gen Valdemaras Rupšys, Lithuanian Armed Forces Command Sergeant Major Dainius Snarskis, pay a visit to the Defence Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The U.S. guests will discuss development of military career military readiness and discipline, microclimate in units, additional activities with soldiers, and other topics with sergeant majors of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The delegation will also visit the Lithuanian Grand Duke Algirdas Mechanised Infantry Battalion and the National Defence Volunteer Force to observe training events and share experience.
