On November 20 Distinguished Visitors and Media Day of Exercise Maple Arch 2015 will take place General Adolfas Ramanauskas Warfare Training Centre. The training audience will be visited and the closing ceremony will be attended by Commander of the Lithuanian Land Force Major General Almantas Leika, commander of the joint Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade (LITPOLUKRBRIG) Brigadier General Adam Joks, and delegations from the countries contributing to the exercise.
On November 9-20 a multinational battalion headquarters comprised of Lithuanian, Polish and Ukrainian soldiers is training in Exercise Maple Arch 2015 in Lithuania. Staff specialists training in the exercise are completing assignments with assistance of military instructors of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade.
The exercise ran in two phases. During the first week the training soldiers were sharing information, attended training seminars and lectures, shared experience of planning and execution of peacekeeping operations. During the second week staff specialists trained coordination of actions according to scenarios developed with regard to the most recent military conflicts using joint conflict and tactical simulation system.
Exercise Maple Arch has been organised and led by Canada within the framework of the Canada's Military Training Assistance Programme since 1999. The exercise takes place in one of the three LITPOLUKRBRIG countries annually on a rotational basis.

Media representatives will need to have a valid press and personal ID document at the event.
Freelancers and individuals not contracted with any media outlet, as well as foreign media, should obtain accreditation at the Strategic Communication and Public Affairs Department of the MoND by filling out an accreditation form and sending a copy of a personal ID document via e-mail vis@kam.lt
Please arrive at General Adolfas Ramanauskas Warfare Training Centre in Nemenčinė (Kalno str. 8) until 9.45 a.m. on November 20.
