Finland's Chief of Defence visit Lithuania
March 1-2, Chief of Defence of Finland Gen Ari Tapani Puheloinen will pay a formal visit to Lithuania.
During the visit the guest will meet with the Minister of National Defence Rasa Juknevičienė, Chief of Defence Maj Gen Arvydas Pocius, and tour Gen Jonas Žemaitis Lithuanian Military Academy and Energy Security Centre.
In the meetings discussions are planned to focus on defence cooperation of Finland and Lithuania and participation in multinational operations led by NATO and the European Union.
On Tuesday , March 1, at 10.00 a.m. the Chief of Defence of Finland will be solemnly met in the square in front of the Ministry of National Defence.
Gen A.T. Puheloinen has been the top military Finland's leader since 2009.
