September 29, Lithuanian Naval Force (Klaipėda) was visited by the delegation of Foreign Defence Attachés accredited in Lithuania.
Defence Attachés visited Headquarters of the Lithuanian Naval Force (LNF) in Klaipėda where they listened to a presentation about organisation and activities of the Lithuanian Naval Force and toured the new division of LNF - Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre. Later the guests visited the Naval Flotilla and observed the vessels.
Tradition tours of Defence Attachés around Lithuania and divisions of the Lithuanian Armed Forces are held two times per year - in autumn and in spring. This year Defence Attachés were accompanied by their spouses in the tour in Klaipėda.
At the moment 30 Defence Attachés of 29 countries are accredited to Lithuania, 13 of them are based in Vilnius.
