On November 6 Lithuanian kicked of international command and control element exercise Strong Will 2024. The exercise will run until November 20 in specified military and civilian territories in Kaunas and southeast Lithuania.
The exercise organized by the Land Force Command Staff aims at developing readiness of subordinate units for planning and executing wide scale defensive operation in collaboration with NATO Allies with integrated combat support units and mutual coordination.
The training personnel will utilize military battlefield C2 information system to plan and execute defensive operations, which means the community will not witness most of the exercise operations in flesh. Besides that, the training event will involve blank ammunition and explosives. In total, it will involve over 400 participants with tactical equipment.
Increased movement of tactical vehicles will take place over the exercise span in southeastern Lithuania 24/7.
