On February 19 through 20 the Commander of Combined Air Operations Centre (CAOC) UEDEM, Lieutenant General Joachim Wundrak, conducted a visit to the Air Space Control Centre of the Air Space Surveillance and Control Command of the Lithuanian Air Force and the Baltic States' Joint Control and Reporting Centre in Karmėlava.
The goal of the visit was to discuss the activities of the Joint Control and Reporting Centre in Karmėlava and strengthening of the NATO Baltic Air Policing Mission with representatives of the Baltic States air forces.
The Lithuanian-hosted meeting took place between Commander CAOC, Commander Lithuanian Air Force Colonel Audronis Navickas, Commander Latvian Air Force Colonel Aivars Mežors, and Commander Estonian Air Force Colonel Jaak Tarien.
