December 12, Defence Minister of Denmark Nick Hækkerup and Commander of the Danish Royal Air Force Maj Gen Henrik Raboe Dam extended their formal visit in Lithuania to Šiauliai.
In the meeting in Šiauliai of the Lithuanian and Danish Air Force Commanders Maj Gen Edvardas Mažeikis and Maj Gen G. Raboe Dam addressed points of bilateral defence cooperation.

The guests also visited the Danish Air Contingent currently conducting the Baltic Air Policing mission from Šiauliai.
Denmark is conducting the Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) mission for a third time.
