International Command Post Exercise (CPX) Maple Arch 2015 taking place at General Adolfas Ramanauskas Warfare Training Centre is a joint exercise of staffs of the units comprising the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade (LITPOLUKRBRIG). It is computer-assisted exercise conducted using joint conflict and tactical simulation system.
The exercise aims to improve interaction among the command and control elements of the three nations' units and their readiness to plan joint operations in an emergency. Participants of the exercise will use the joint conflict and tactical simulation system to test the operational concept and plan they will have generated.
On November 20 Distinguished Visitors and Media Day of Maple Arch 2015 will be held at Adolfas Ramanauskas Warfare Training Centre in Nemenčinė. It will be followed by closing ceremonies of Iron Sword 2015 and Maple Arch 2015 at General Silvestras Žukauskas Training Area in Pabradė.
