On February 3 Commander of the Lithuanian Land Force Major General Almantas Leika met with Lieutenant General Timothy Evans, Commander Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC) in the United Kingdom.
The Generals discussed guidelines for bilateral cooperation and possible support for further cooperation between Lithuania and Allied Rapid Reaction Corps headquarters.
Two officers of the Lithuanian Land Force have been serving at the HQ ARRC since 2014.
The majority of the personnel of the UK-based, NATO Rapid Deployment Corps headquarters, roughly 60 percent, is assigned by the United Kingdom. The other part of the staff is provided by 15 countries, including Lithuania.
