Saturday evening soldiers of German Air force detachment that are currently in charge of NATO Air policing mission in Baltic countries organized celebration of Oktoberfest fiesta. The goal of the fiesta was to get acquainted counterpart colleagues with the one of the famous holidays in Germany, with its history and traditions. This event brought a perfect opportunity to taste traditional foods and beverages, listen to traditional Bavarian music. Some soldiers that are originally from Germany's Bavarian region were dressed in folk suits. According to one of the organizers mission like NATO Air policing in Baltic countries is a perfect opportunity to bring coming nation's traditions to locals too.
