 “Saber Strike 2013” nearing conclusion

"Saber Strike 2013" is a U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed, U.S. European Command (USEUCOM)-scheduled, U.S. Army in Europe (USAREUR)-led Theatre Security Cooperation (TSC) exercise that held across various military training areas of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. It is comprised of a brigade-level command post exercise (CPX), a computer assisted exercise (CAX), and company-level field and situational training exercises. "Saber Strike 2013" also features integration of U.S. capabilities-provided close air support with partner nations' ground forces and a showcase of the U.S. Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) capability. All the "Saber Strike 2013" activities feature joint multinational training of the participating nations. The exercise is running from June 3 to 14, 2013.
