On the 13th of January the day of Defenders of Freedom was commemorated buy soldiers of Lithuanian Air force Air base. Lithuanian pilots and soldiers were joined in a formation buy colleagues from German Air force detachment that is currently in charge of NATO air policing mission above three Baltic States. Everyone who was attending the event was called to observe minute of silence in order to commemorate the fallen civilians and wounded people at the TV tower on the 13th January night 21 year ago. Afterwards burning candles were laid at the portraits of the victims.
In each window of all buildings of the Air base was burning a single candle...
