On October 14 through 31 Exercise Strong Griffin organized by the Lithuanian Great Hetman Jonas Karolis Chodkevičius Infantry Brigade Griffin will train over 2500 Lithuanian and Allied troops with 250 pieces of military equipment at the General Silvestras Žukauskas Training Area in Pabradė.
For two weeks units of IB Griffin, National Defence Volunteer Force, Military Police, Military Medical Service, Juozas Vitkus Engineer Battalion and the Air Defence Battalion of the Lithuanian Air Force will train side by side with the United States, United Kingdom and Polish Allies.
Exercise Strong Griffin 2024 is an annual scheduled training event conceived to rehearse planning and execution of defensive operations in collaboration with assigned and Allied units for IB Griffin troops.
