September 23, 9.30 a.m. local time, two members of the Lithuanian-led Provincial Reconstruction Team of Ghor were injured while conducting escort in Chaghcharan, provincial capital.
An identified person in a ANP uniform fired three shots at Lithuanian troops and ran off with his partner by motorbike.
One of soldiers experienced penetration wound of face, the other - of hand, and a gunshot wound of chin. Both of the injured received emergency medical aid and now are placed under medical care. Later troops will be taken to Kabul hospital.
Next to kin have been notified.
The incident is under investigation of local security forces - Police and National Security Department.
