July 29-August 1 when Klaipeda was celebrating the Sea Festival, the U.S. naval guided missile frigate USS CARR (FFG-52) moored at Klaipėda harbour.
During the visit the ship's commander will meet with representatives of U.S. Embassy, Lithuanian Navy and Klaipėda Municipality. While staying in Lithuania, the naval frigate's crew members together with soldiers of Lithuanian Navy will visit a foster home "Morning", citizens of Klaipeda and guest will also be provided a possibility to visit U.S. military vessel.
