On November 5 military hardware British troops will use at international exercise Iron Sword 2015 to be held in Lithuania on November 8-20 was brought from the United Kingdom to Klaipėda Seaport.
The exercise held in General Silvestras Žukauskas Training Area of the Lithuanian Armed Forces in Pabradė on November 8-20 will train roughly 2 thousand troops from NATO countries and Georgia. Over a hundred exercise participants from the United Kingdom have brought military all-terrain vehicles, trucks, and other materiel and equipment via Klaipėda Seaport.
Training audience of Exercise Iron Sword 2015 with military equipment are gathering via Vilnius International Airport, Klaipėda Seaport, Lithuanian railways and public roads.
While receiving numerous allied forces the Lithuanian Armed Forces is training to render Host Nation Support (HNS).

Exercise Iron Sword will take place in Lithuania for the second time. Running on November 8-20, the exercise organised by the Lithuanian Land Force will involve roughly 2 thousand soldiers from 9 NATO countries (the Czech Republic, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland United Kingdom, and the United States) and Georgia. The largest field training exercise held in Lithuania this year, Exercise Iron Sword 2015 will train the Lithuanian Armed Forces, NATO allies and partners collective defence tasks under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty.
