February 2, Lithuanian-led Chaghcharan PRT-10 conducted patrol in Sufak village, Ghowr province, delivered humanitarian relief for the most vulnerable families of local community. Assistance for Ghowr citizens is distributed under the preparation for winter plan drafted by Provincial Emergency Response Committee.
Peacekeepers also arranged instructions for children and adult community members about the threat caused by mines. Lecture on the topic was delivered by Sgt (FC) Darius Diburys respectfully referred to as „Mr. Professor" by his service fellows and local listeners. „Professsor" Sgt (FC) D. Diburys reads lectures on mine hazard around several times per month during patrols in Ghowr.
Afterwards Lithuanian and Croatian peacekeepers challenged local youth for a football match ending in a standoff 1:1. „Friendship won," laughed soldiers.
